Godzilla Legends #2

This second entry in IDW's Godzilla Legends anthology series puts the spotlight squarely on Rodan, and Art Adams' cover makes an immediate impression — the massive winged kaiju looms over a small town, wings spread wide and clawed feet poised above rooftops, billowing dust clouds framing the creature's fearsome horned beak and ridged chest. The sense of scale is genuinely striking, with everyday details like a school bus and a noodle-shop clock tower dwarfed beneath Rodan's titanic frame. Inside, writer Vankin and artist Simon Gane take on the story "Lifespan," making this a fine showcase for one of the most beloved monsters in the Toho roster.
