Godzilla: Escape the Deadzone #2

The second chapter of IDW's Godzilla: Escape the Deadzone delivers a cover that's equal parts eerie and arresting — a robed, goggled figure stands arms outstretched before a massive stone doorway etched with a serpentine kaiju silhouette, while a massive dark clawed hand erupts from the rubble below in a blaze of golden light. Pablo Tunica's artwork gives the scene a ritualistic, almost apocalyptic weight, with hulking mechanical shapes looming in the shadows on either side. Writers Griffin Sheridan and Ethan Parker's 2025 series continues to build a world where ancient mystery and monstrous power collide in genuinely compelling ways.
