Godzilla: Escape the Deadzone #1

A rugged, heavily-loaded survivor sprints through a cracked, desolate wasteland while the unmistakable silhouette of Godzilla looms enormous against a haze of destruction in the background — it's a cover that immediately sells the desperate scale of what writers Griffin Sheridan and Ethan S. Parker have cooked up. Pablo Tunica's linework and colors do a lot of heavy lifting here, contrasting the lone human figure's frantic motion with the titan's eerie stillness on the horizon amid crumbling ruins. If the premise of outrunning a monster-ravaged dead zone appeals to you, this 2025 IDW series is off to a genuinely gripping start.
