Godzilla #6
Dark Horse's Godzilla: King of the Monsters #6 (1995) puts the Big G front and center — looming over a burning cityscape, crackling with electricity and roaring with unmistakable fury — while two armored figures on the ground level a massive weapon at him, a blinding energy blast already erupting between them. The tension of that standoff, with Godzilla's sheer scale dwarfing everything below, is rendered with terrific confidence in cover pencils by Kevin Maguire and inks by Arthur Adams. With "Target: Godzilla Part II" continuing inside, this is a satisfying slice of mid-'90s kaiju comics done with real craft.
