In "La storia dell'anno," Spider-Man snaps a photo of Henry Gyrich for the Daily Bugle, setting off a chain of events when J.J.Jameson pushes for a story on Operation Zero Tolerance. As Spidey follows Gyrich, he’s drawn into a violent ambush by Marrow and Callisto, who blame the operation for their suffering. With Gyrich’s bodyguards suddenly turning into Prime Sentinels, chaos erupts—until Gyrich himself confronts the betrayal, dismantling the Sentinels and freeing the heroes. Meanwhile, Bastion attempts to derail the investigation by feeding J.J.Jameson false leads about the X-Men, but the editor remains unswayed.
