Girls' Love Stories #8
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA sun-drenched beachside moment takes center stage on this 1950 DC romance issue, as a smiling blonde woman in a blue swimsuit leans playfully toward a shirtless young man, the two clearly caught up in a moment of easy, flirtatious warmth. The cover teaser — "When would he answer the beat of my heart with the words I longed to hear?" — sets a perfectly wistful tone that pairs beautifully with the story title "Welcome Home, My Heart!" inside. Fifty-two romantic pages for a dime made Girls' Love Stories a genuine treat, and this issue captures that mid-century longing and hope with charm to spare.
