This anthology issue contains seven picture-stories for schoolgirls. The lead story, "Daphne of Galleon Cove Camp," follows Daphne Ronson, a girl who has lost her memory after falling from a cliff and is taken to a nearby schoolgirl camp. When Bunty Haynes and Pat Simms search the private grounds of Galleon Cove House for clues to Daphne's identity, they encounter a mysterious girl in a hooded robe and chase her through the grounds and an old watch tower. "Hetty & Hal in Holland," by Elise Probyn, features the girls encountering an American uncle visiting Holland and becoming entangled in a mystery involving a missing handkerchief and a film company's secret errand. Another story, "Thelma's Swimming Test," depicts Thelma hiding something in a hollow tree and subsequently missing a swimming test, which prompts her schoolmates' suspicions and concern about her whereabouts.
