Girls' Crystal #969 is an anthology featuring two main stories. "Daphne of Galleon Cove Camp" follows Daphne Ronson, who has lost her memory after falling from a cliff and is taken to a schoolgirl camp at Galleon Cove, Cornwall, where campers Bunty Rayner and Pat Simms attempt to rescue her suitcase from a dangerous cliff ledge and forbidden private grounds. "Hetty & Hal in Holland" by Elise Probyn follows Hetty and Hal on a holiday trip to Holland with the farmer Deen and his wife, where they lose their steamship tickets and must pursue various misadventures involving a saddle-bag and bicycles across the Dutch countryside and canals. The issue also includes "The Schoolgirls' Own Library," a section advertising two serialized stories: "Her Feud with the Schoolboy Hero" and "Ken and Joyce on Rainbow Isle."
