Girls' Crystal #952 is an anthology featuring three stories. "Friends of the Gipsy Skater" follows Carol Fenton and Denia Gray in Switzerland, where they discover a gypsy girl imprisoned in a water-mill by her rascally guardian; Carol attempts a daring ski-jump to reach the girl and aid in her rescue. "Wanda of Bear Park" by Sheila Austin depicts Wanda Merrick caught in a snowball fight that leads to an overturned sleigh accident, after which she becomes entangled in solving a mystery involving a missing horse and damaged property. The third story features schoolgirls Julie and Betsy uncovering a sabotage plot at their Fourth Form magazine office, discovering that anonymous messages and missing waste-paper baskets indicate a deliberate campaign to disrupt the publication.
