“Without Love!”

In "Without Love!", Mildred, still reeling from a painful breakup, channels her heartbreak into a fierce independence—only to face a new challenge when her friend Amy’s passing leaves her wanting to adopt Amy’s young daughter, Donna. With the rules clear—only married women can adopt—her co-worker Charlie steps in to help, orchestrating a makeover and a whirlwind of dates. But as Mildred navigates a series of awkward encounters, she begins to see Charlie in a new light, and he, in turn, realizes his true feelings. Jerry Robinson’s expressive art brings emotional depth to this poignant tale of self-discovery, while Al Hartley’s cover captures the story’s bittersweet tension.
