The sheer scale of Gigantic #2 from Dark Horse is on full display here, as an enormous hand hurls a massive truck through the air above a squad of sleek, red-eyed armored soldiers scrambling below. Eric Nguyen's cover crackles with kinetic energy — the overturned vehicle tumbling overhead against a stormy sky makes the threat feel genuinely overwhelming for those armored figures on the ground. Rick Remender and Nguyen, with colors by Matthew Wilson, were clearly building something thrillingly outsized with this 2008 series.
