Ghost Stories of an Antiquary #2
"Number 13" delivers a chilling, atmospheric tale in Ghost Stories of an Antiquary #2, a standout entry in the series drawn from the legendary tales of M. R. James. Written by Leah Moore and John Reppion and illustrated with haunting precision by George Kambadais—whose art, inks, and colors all contribute to the creeping dread—this story follows Anderson, a researcher staying in a hotel in Viborg, where a phantom room numbered 13 seems to exist just beyond the edge of sight. The cover by Francesco Francavilla perfectly captures the unsettling mood, with its stark shadows and eerie stillness.
