“It's a Man's World”

This 1994 Dark Horse special introduces readers to Ghost in striking fashion — Adam Hughes' cover depicts the white-clad, veil-masked heroine mid-action, both pistols drawn and one blazing, her flowing garments and blonde hair trailing as she moves through what appears to be a darkened interior doorway. A fallen figure is barely visible at the bottom of the frame, hinting at the charged atmosphere waiting inside. With a story titled "It's a Man's World" and a creative team including writer Eric Luke and artist Matt Haley, this special is a confident, stylish showcase for one of Dark Horse's most visually compelling characters.
