“Ashes of My Soul”

In "Ashes of My Soul," Ghost Rider faces a haunting moral crossroads when Barbara pleads to become the Spirit of Vengeance, claiming she was meant to carry the flame all along. With Brother Voodoo’s aid, the Ghost Rider confronts the Scarecrow’s lingering presence in Dan’s body, but the victory comes at a terrible cost—Dan’s mother, shattered by grief and trauma, can no longer bear the truth. Written by Ivan Velez Jr. and illustrated by Gabe Alberola, with inks by Hilary Barta and colors by Brian Buccellato, this emotionally charged issue explores the weight of legacy and sacrifice. The cover, by Pop Mhan, captures the grim intensity of the moment.
