Ghost Rider #41

Part of the "Road to Vengeance: The Missing Link" crossover, this September 1993 issue puts Ghost Rider in the thick of a fierce mid-air brawl, his flaming skull and chain blazing as he collides with a massive purple-clad brute while a dark-clad female figure looms in the fiery background. Ron Garney's cover pencils and Chris Ivy's inks give the scene a raw, kinetic energy — rubble flies, flames surge, and every figure feels like it's about to crash right off the page. With Howard Mackie scripting and Garney also contributing to the story, "Mother Love" promises a chapter where the Spirit of Vengeance is pushed to his limits.
