Ghost Rider 2099 #9

The future gets brutal in Ghost Rider 2099 #9, as the cover by Kyle Hotz drops us into a landscape of rubble and roaring flames where the Ghost Rider of 2099 squares off against a towering, multi-limbed mechanical behemoth that dwarfs him with its massive claw-like arms. The contrast between the lone figure bracing against that industrial giant — backdropped by an inferno of orange and gold — makes for a genuinely striking piece of 1995 Marvel 2099 atmosphere. With Len Kaminski writing and Mark Buckingham on interior art, "Demolition Man" looks to deliver exactly the kind of hard-edged, cyberpunk confrontation this series does so well.
