Ghost Rider 2099 #10

This February 1995 issue from Marvel's futuristic line presents one of the more striking covers in the Ghost Rider 2099 run — a mechanical skull with glowing red eyes stares out from a dense tangle of copper pipes, gears, and industrial machinery, blending horror and dystopian technology in equal measure. Tom Taggart's cover work gives the image an almost photorealistic weight, making that cybernetic death's-head feel genuinely unsettling against its rust-and-metal backdrop. With Len Kaminski writing and Kyle Hotz on interior art, "Concrete Jungle" looks like a compelling entry in this gritty sci-fi reinvention of a Marvel antihero.
