Ghost Rider 2099 #24 brings the futuristic hellrider face-to-face with a threat called the Psyclone, as promised by the cover's bold tagline. Ashley Wood's cover art fills the frame with a striking close-up of Ghost Rider 2099's distinctive half-skull, half-technological visage — pale bone on one side, sleek black with a coiled ear piece on the other — set against a smoldering orange and red backdrop. Writer Len Kaminski and the art team of Wood and inker Jim Daly were delivering some of Marvel's most visually distinctive work in 1996, and this issue looks like a worthy entry in that run.
