Charlton's Ghost Manor #11 (March 1970) serves up a genuinely unsettling cover by Sanho Kim, who renders a massive, shadowy supernatural entity whose body simultaneously conceals a grinning skull face, a long-haired woman, and a screaming man — all looming over a small, rifle-clutching figure wading through a murky swamp. The fiery orange sky and twisted trees pressing in from the edges give the whole image a suffocating dread that fits the anthology's "Echoes of the Spirit World" tagline perfectly. If you enjoy early-'70s Charlton horror at its atmospheric best, this one delivers the goods.
