Dark Horse's Ghost #20 arrives with a haunting cover by John Cassaday (inked by Randy Emberlin) that commands attention: a young woman — bare and vulnerable — is enveloped and restrained by swirling, ribbon-like spectral tendrils against a stark white void, her expression caught somewhere between struggle and surrender. The minimalist composition gives the image a dreamlike unease that feels entirely fitting for a series built around the boundaries between life and death. With Eric Luke writing and Ivan Reis on interior art, "Exhuming Elisa Part 1" promises this 1996 run is still pushing Ghost into compelling new territory.
