Georgie Comics #7
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA sunny slice of postwar fun, this September 1946 issue of Georgie Comics captures the chaos of a day at the dock — Georgie wrestles a leaping fish on his line while a startled young woman clings to his shoulders, and two bemused cats look on from beside the tackle box. Frank Carin's clean, expressive linework gives the whole scene a loose, cheerful energy that makes it easy to see why teen-humor comics were such a hit with readers at the time. At just ten cents, this was a great deal of lighthearted entertainment.
