Gene Autry Comics #9

Gene Autry and his friend Flapjack Hobbs visit Ted Milton's ranch in Mesquite Valley, where they discover a man riding with a torch heading toward the wheat fields. Gene investigates and learns of a criminal plot involving a gunslinger named Banty who aims to set fire to the crops and destroy the valley. Gene pursues Banty and his gang across the countryside, ultimately capturing them and recovering evidence that exposes their scheme to Sheriff Joe Clark in the town of Mesquite.
