Gene Autry Comics #10

Gene Autry investigates suspicious activity at a hotel in Three Forks, where he discovers criminals attempting to kidnap a man named Dean Coy. After a struggle, Gene helps Dean escape inside the hotel. In a separate story titled "The Race," rancher Nat Roper hears gunshots on his ranch and investigates, encountering Sid Griffin and another man practicing target shooting. They propose a horse race with Ginger, one of the ranch horses, as the prize, and Nat agrees to the competition.
