Adam Warren brings his signature anime-inflected energy to Gen 13 Bootleg #9, the second chapter of his three-part "Grunge: The Movie" storyline. The cover — pencilled and inked by Warren himself — looks down at three young characters sprawled together in a chaotic jumble of handguns, a large rifle, spent brass, and gleaming bullets, their wide eyes and disheveled hair selling a scene of frantic, over-the-top action. The bold "All Exploitation Issue!" banner sets the tongue-in-cheek tone perfectly for this 1997 Image series.
