This April 2008 WildStorm entry puts the spotlight squarely on a powerfully built, shirtless young man — his chest marked with a vivid tattoo — bound in glowing chains and roaring defiantly as he's hauled high above a nighttime city skyline. The vertiginous, top-down perspective makes the street traffic far below feel genuinely dizzying, while an enormous hand gripping the chains above him leaves no doubt he's in serious trouble. Carlo Barberi's pencils and Drew Geraci's inks bring a kinetic energy to the scene that makes this Simon Oliver–penned chapter of Gen 13 hard to put down.
