Gen 13 #1
This 2002 WildStorm/DC relaunch brings Chris Claremont together with artist Alé Garza and inker Sandra Hope for a fresh chapter in Gen 13's story. The cover — penciled by Garza and inked by Hope — puts three young figures front and center: a confident young woman in a crop top with headphones around her neck, a tall woman standing alert behind her, and a crouching young man at their feet, while a hooded figure looms ominously to the left and a coiling tentacle creeps in from below, hinting at serious danger ahead. It's a sharp, energetic introduction to "September Song, Part One: 24 Hours" that sets a genuinely compelling tone for what promises to be an exciting new direction.
