Gemini Blood #2

Part two of "Species Paratwa" arrives in this October 1996 entry in DC's Helix imprint, written by Christopher Hinz with art by Tommy Lee Edwards. Walter Simonson's cover renders two imposing, skull-faced armored figures mid-combat — one fist raised high, a crackling chain or energy weapon whipping through the air, while debris scatters around them and a glowing, ornate sun-like medallion dominates the lower foreground. It's a striking, kinetic image that makes clear this series has serious muscle behind it both on and off the cover.
