Gary Frank and Brad Anderson's cover for this 2021 Image series captures a blistering post-apocalyptic road battle: a rugged military-style truck barrels through a dusty wasteland while warriors clash violently on its hood, bodies and weapons flying in every direction, as a small lizard watches calmly from the roadside. The raw energy of the scene perfectly embodies the brutal, irradiated world that Geoff Johns has built around this series. If this issue is any indication, Geiger continues to deliver the kind of visceral, sun-scorched action that makes it one of the more compelling original series Image has put out in recent memory.
