The irrepressible Gaston is at it again — this German-language Carlsen Comics edition, subtitled Tierischer Unfug ("Animal Mischief"), delivers exactly what the title promises. The cover, signed by Franquin, says it all: a bewildered cow wedged halfway through an office window while a rope-wielding Gaston stands below, as two thoroughly exasperated onlookers react with wide-eyed horror from the doorway. It's a perfectly chaotic snapshot of the gentle mayhem that has made this Belgian strip beloved across generations, now charmingly presented for German-speaking readers in 2019.
