Gasolina #12 arrives at what feels like a turning point, its cover broadcasting dread through a stunning image of a massive Mesoamerican pyramid looming against a storm-torn sky, lightning crackling on both sides while a river of deep crimson pours down its steps into churning red waves below. The subtitle "Fiesta" takes on a deeply unsettling irony against that stark, blood-soaked imagery.
