Everyone's favorite lasagna-loving tabby is back in Garfield: The Big Cheese, his 59th collection from Random House. The cover says it all — a grinning, wide-eyed Garfield clutches an enormous wedge of Swiss cheese while two thoroughly defeated-looking mice flank him on either side, the whole scene set against a cheerful polka-dot yellow background. It's a perfectly charming snapshot of Garfield at his most triumphant, and a great reminder of why this strip has kept readers smiling for decades.
