Gambit & Bishop #3
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart 3 of this bi-weekly 2001 Marvel miniseries puts Gambit and Bishop shoulder-to-shoulder against what appears to be a mechanically augmented enemy, with Gambit's charged playing card crackling pink at his fingertips and Bishop unleashing a blast of his own while a third figure is engulfed in flame below them — all rendered with kinetic intensity by cover penciler J. H. Williams III and inker Mick Gray. The corner inset reinforces the unlikely pairing, showing the two mutants sizing each other up amid Gambit's signature kinetic energy. With Scott Lobdell and Joe Pruett scripting and Georges Jeanty on interior art, "Sons of the Atom" is shaping up to be one of the more action-packed team-ups of its era.
