While Gambit and Bella Donna try to survive being buried under a ton of rubble, the Thieves and Assassins Guilds unite to drive off the super powered assassins trying to cash in on the bounty on Gambit's head. Gambit uses his powers to their fullest to blast away the debris and free himself and Bella. The Thieves and Assassins make peace. Gambit and Archangel fly off to confront New Son.
