Gabby #6

Gabby is drafted into the army and must leave town on short notice, breaking his dinner date with Taffy. The next morning, the news spreads that Gabby has been enlisted, and Mayor Grover Pillson arranges a surprise dinner and farewell party at Town Hall to honor him. During the party, Gabby's friend attempts to help him pass an algebra exam by having him sit at a vacant table during dinner, but Gabby ultimately struggles with the subject. When Gabby unexpectedly returns to town before his departure, he reunites with Taffy and must explain his absence while dealing with various complications surrounding his military service.
