Gabby and her friends organize a party to welcome the famous French tennis player Mr. Schmobert to the United States, but their plans go awry when Schmobert's shyness and difficulty speaking makes social interaction awkward. Later, Gabby goes horseback riding with friends, where a runaway horse and encounters with wildlife create chaos. In another story segment, Gabby works at a gas station where she accidentally puts the car's gears in reverse, causing the vehicle to crash into the service station pump, resulting in her having to work for a year to pay off the damages.
