G.I. Joe: Cobra #7
In G.I. Joe: Cobra #7, written by Mike Costa and illustrated by Antonio Fuso, the mystery of Firewall’s past unfolds as she reveals her origins to the team. With Chameleon sensing a traitor in their midst and tensions rising, a tense confrontation at the armory and garage leads to a brutal fight when Steeler attempts to flee—only for a sniper’s shot to change everything. The cover by David Williams captures the moment’s intensity, while the story’s emotional weight and high-stakes action are brought to life by Fuso’s dynamic art and Arianna Florean’s vivid coloring.

Firewall tells how she came to be a part of G.I. Joe. Chameleon deduces that Cobra has been upping the stakes, and that the mole may try to run. She and Lady Jaye go to the armory, and Firewall goes to the garage. She finds Steeler trying to escape. He attacks her, Chameleon and Lady Jaye arrive, and they attack. They all fight. Jaye and Firewall are shot, Chameleon is taken down, and Steeler has the upper hand, until he is shot in the head by a sniper. They are all left bleeding on the floor.
