Sneak Peek joins a team heading into Darklonia to meet up with the resistance; the resistance leader turns out to be Sneak Peek's old flame Katya. Cobra arrests Wade and his wife but Heather escapes. Storm Shadow recalls a time when Snake Eyes was driven to wrath. Cobra Commander holds a meeting with Destro and tries to assassinate him but fails; Destro advises Cobra Commander not to try that again.
