G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #197

Dec 2013 · IDW · 3.99 USD

In G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #197, the Joe rescue team joins forces with the Sierra Gordo military, only to uncover a shocking twist—those they thought were rebels are actually Blue Ninjas. As Lola arrives in Sierra Gordo to aid in rescuing her husband, both the Joes in the mine and the hostages in the Terrordrome prepare their escapes, while Cobra appears to seize control of the Pit without resistance. Written by Larry Hama and illustrated by S. L. Gallant with inks by Brian Shearer, colors by J. Brown, and letters by Neil Uyetake, the issue’s cover by Gallant and Shearer captures the tension of a mission gone dangerously off-script.
