While Snake-Eyes, Billy, and Storm Shadow go to New York to face the Russian Arashikage Ninja clan and learn of its origins, Firefly and Crystal Ball are still trying to escape from the building housing the laser satellite's equipment. Chuckles begins to be debriefed by Sneak Peek on his mission into Darklonia, and Mindbender ends his association with the late Dr. Venom (whose brainwave patterns are inside the scanner) by destroying that machine as Venom asks for his help in escaping from there as Kwinn grabs him.
