In G.I. Joe #22 (2010), the surviving Joes brace for the aftermath of a devastating tsunami, while those in the helicopter are lost to the waves. With the mysterious submarine Dreadnaught now surfacing, the team boards it to investigate—only to find themselves locked in a tense battle for control against Cobra’s forces. As Keel Haul takes flight in a recovered plane and the Baroness prepares a tense dinner with the Commander and Destro, the fate of the Dreadnaught hangs in the balance. Written by Chuck Dixon and illustrated by Álex Cal with inks by Álex Cal, color by Andrew Crossley, and lettering by Neil Uyetake, the cover by Robert Atkins and Clayton Brown captures the stormy intensity of the moment.
