Billed as "The Silent Issue!" right on the cover, this 2003 Image Comics entry in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero promises a wordless, action-driven reading experience that's hard to resist. Mike Zeck's cover — penciled and inked by Zeck himself — puts a masked, black-clad ninja front and center, twin blades drawn, leaping above a red-headed soldier who raises his pistol amid a storm of flying debris and an orange explosion. It's a tense, kinetic standoff that sets the stage perfectly for "Closure Part Two.
