G.I. Joe #17, written by Larry Hama and illustrated by Mike Vosburg with inks by Jon D'Agostino and colors by George Roussos, brings the tension to a boiling point as the Joes pursue Cobra for shooting Hawk. With Destro still reeling from the Baroness’s injuries—though she survives—Kwinn and Snake-Eyes break free from prison, and Major Bludd is captured and brought to the same hospital where Hawk and the Baroness are recovering. As Snake-Eyes, Kwinn, Scar-Face, and Destro converge on Coney Island for a final confrontation, the stakes have never been higher. The cover by Herb Trimpe and Steve Mitchell captures the chaos in bold, dynamic lines.
