The tension couldn't be more visceral on Tom Reilly's cover for this eleventh issue of Image's G.I. Joe run — a massive, scarred armored figure looms over a bloodied opponent, pressing a glowing blue weapon down toward a knife already at the fallen fighter's throat. The blazing red background and Lee Loughridge's sharp coloring give the standoff an almost cinematic intensity that perfectly captures the high stakes Joshua Williamson and Andrea Milana have been building throughout this series.
