G.I. Combat #4

Part of DC's New 52 initiative, G.I. Combat #4 (October 2012) features "The War That Time Forgot" — and this cover by Alberto Ponticelli and Wayne Faucher makes that premise impossible to resist. A massive triceratops fills nearly the entire frame, bearing down on a military tank whose crew fires desperately into the beast's face, while pterosaurs wheel through a hazy, battle-scorched sky above. The issue also promises a backup story starring the Unknown Soldier, with the ominous tease that "global terror has a new enemy" — plenty of reason to pick this one up.
