A movie theater full of wide-eyed cartoon dogs makes for a wonderfully chaotic backdrop in this September 1948 issue of DC's Funny Stuff. On the cover, drawn by Otto Feuer, a startled rabbit clutching a bag of peanuts and a cool-as-a-cucumber frog sit front and center — the frog's overturned bucket sending a cascade of popcorn spilling across the floor. Fifty-two pages of animated-style humor for just ten cents made this an easy sell for fans of lighthearted funny-animal fun.
