"Dusty" depicts an old man and his pup encountering complications during a fishing trip when they discover a sign prohibiting fishing on the grounds, only for Dusty to reveal he is actually fishing in the lake despite the warning. Another story follows Captain David Dean investigating the disappearance of a Hindu priest aboard a ship, uncovering a plot involving a German scientist named Muller and a dangerous device called the Mandora, which Dean must stop to save the ship's passengers. A third story chronicles the adventures of Ahlgo, a woman warrior who bids farewell to her lover before riding forth gallantly into battle on her white charger, ultimately praying to the gods for protection.
In "null," The Arrow faces off against Bendix and a band of escaped convicts who are plotting revenge on the judge who sentenced them. With the city in danger and the fugitives closing in, The Arrow moves quickly to stop them—before they can strike.
