“Saturday Afternoon Frogman”

In "Saturday Afternoon Frogman," Ernest Schroeder’s expressive art brings to life a tense showdown as the Green Peril plant, secretly seeded by Dr. Cosgrove’s assistant, spreads through the Wassau Swamp. The Heap, drawn by the unnatural struggle in the forest, moves in to confront the creeping menace—protecting both the scientist and the fragile ecosystem. Mike Suchorsky’s cover captures the eerie, overgrown tension of the moment, making this a standout entry in the Frogman series.
