Freedom Force #4

The cover of Freedom Force #4 says it all: a menacing alien villain in purple strides forward proclaiming "Freedom Force is no more!" while towering red robots loom over a city street swarming with his alien troops — and a bold banner asks, "Has the End Come at Last?!?" Tom Scioli's kinetic linework gives the whole scene a gloriously retro science-fiction energy, with Tom McCraw's vivid colors making those giant mechanical threats feel genuinely imposing. "Mechanical Mayhem" looks like a fittingly dramatic chapter for this 2005 Image series.
