The cover of this sixth chapter in DC's 12-issue maxi-series says it all with its bold tagline — "Overman Unleashed!" — as a grinning, red-eyed Overman dominates the composition, grappling with Uncle Sam while another hero lies overwhelmed at the bottom of the frame and a caped figure streaks through a fiery background. Eddy Barrows and Eber Ferreira bring real intensity to the confrontation, with Overman's menacing smile and glowing eyes making it clear the Freedom Fighters are facing something they may not be ready for.
