This Charlton charmer from 1958 captures teenage hijinks at their most gloriously chaotic — Freddy balances on a board being used as a lever while an irate bald man hollers "Get off my lawn, crazy kids!!" and another fellow gets a comical mallet to the head, all while Freddy's cheerful blonde girlfriend boasts to her dark-haired friend that her boyfriend is destined to be the first man on the moon. Jon D'Agostino's lively linework brings a wonderful energy to the scene, packing the cover with expressive characters and sight-gag comedy that feels perfectly at home in the late-'50s teen-humor tradition.
